CAR PAINT POLISHING

This is where the magic starts! Remember how your car looked when you first picked it up from the showroom floor? The clean appearance the depth and gloss of the paint are what made you fall for that car in the first place, and it is what drew you to that car. Sure, your car’s finish may still shine, but shine means nothing without the depth and clarity that only comes from proper machine polishing performed by a trained Paint Correction Specialist (Like Me).

REMOVE SWIRLS IN YOUR PAINT

Paint correction (swirl removal), is a labor-intensive process utilizing nano-technology abrasives (compounds and polishes). The art of safe, modern, and proper buffing techniques is what separates the true professional detailer from all the rest.

COAT or SEAL YOUR POLISHED PAINT

See below the various polishing packages available. In addition, we highly recommend the addition of adding a Protective Coating or Sealant to help maintain your new finish for an extended period!

All-in-One Polish 

This includes a very light compounding, polish, and sealant in one. This is used for minor corrections while giving your car a nice glossy look and some protection.

Light Polish 
Light polishing will remove very minor imperfections and improve the appearance and gloss of the paint. This package includes.

 

Single Stage 
The next level of paint correction utilizes a one stage process of machine polishing (also referred to as one-step polishing). While not considered a “perfection detail” given the single stage process, an improvement in the condition of the paint can be achieved. On softer paints, results can range from 50-80% of all swirls, haze, and light defects, whereas, on harder paints, this could be 40-60%. There is no “All in One” system or product that works for all vehicles so various techniques and polishes are tailored to each vehicle.

Multi-Stage 
Multi-stage paint correction, you’re significantly improving the finish by removing all of the swirls, and all but the heaviest of scratches and defects. This process starts with a heavy compounding machine polishing stage to remove the defects and then followed by a secondary polishing stage to refine the finish and increase gloss and clarity. Due to the differences in paint types, condition, and size of vehicles, the rate for the Multi-Stage Paint Correction varies. Each vehicle owner will receive consultation on what plan will fit their needs and budget.
The paint type and condition will also dictate the level of correction, but typically this process on most cars will get rid of 85-95% of all defects. The goal is to bring that vehicle to the look it had when it was showroom new!
